Hair Color Education Is Stylists’ Ticket to Profits

Advanced hair coloring training has a huge trickle-down effect, earning you money in ways you may not even realize: Hair Coloring Training

1. Loyalty. Studies show that the more services they get, the more loyal clients are to the salon. A client who regularly gets a cut, color and manicure and purchases retail products is not likely to suddenly switch salons, especially when it means risking a new color formula.

2. Rebooks. Luckily for you, hair grows out quickly! The horror of virgin regrowth tends to get color clients on a maintenance schedule of every six weeks or so. Their willingness to rebook their next appointment before they leave goes way up, which usually translates into more appointments per year.

3. Retail. After spending all that money on hair color, clients are more likely to purchase color-sensitive salon products that won’t strip their investment.

4. Referrals. Color gets attention. The more people who compliment your clients on their hair, the more referrals you’ll get from them. Keep your good clients supplied with your business card.

5. Correction work. There’s a constant stream of people needing color correction. Either they did their own color at home, they went to an unskilled colorist or their hairdresser took an unfortunate chance on coloring their already chemical-drenched head. Include your color correction expertise in ads, and you’ll get new clients just from that.

Become really good and really speedy at hair color. You’ll thank yourself!

Everything you wrote above is true, where do you go for good honest haircolor education? I mean education, not someone selling you haircolor. It is non existent. There are so little generic haircolor education it is impossible receive. It is difficult to learn haircolor over the web. Oh sure you can learn the color wheel, but you can get that in a watercolor class. The truth is the color wheel has so little to do with haircolor they should remove it from the curriculum. The reason everyone teaches it is because t is the only standardized thing we have in our curriculum. Haircolor education is so fragmented and convoluted its a wonder we have the number of haircolorists we do. You don't learn haircolor by sitting in the audience watching some super star placing foils in a $400.00 a day model. Learning haircolor is getting your hands in it and feeling the color go on the mannequin and observing the results and making a mental not of the results. Go to the Energizing Summit and take some hands on classes if you want to learn color. It works. Andre

Hair Color Corrections haves been a daily revenue builder here in my new salon. Just moved here from Lincolnshire, IL one year ago. Unskilled haircolorists abound here in SF, NM. I have yet to do a virgin head of hair. Thanks to all my educational years in haircolor, Evaluating Experience for ABCH, and attending the ABCH Energizing Summits & private classes in color; they have provided the avenue of confidence for Color Corrections.
(Hard water, unskilled colorists, box colored hair, faded haircolor, sun bleached hair, bad shampoo products (organic), and just plain bad hair, etc.) I have never worked this hard in repairing hair and hair color in my llife. Its been an adventure, but worth it.
ABCH is the Summit for HairColor Education!
