Latest Baldness Cure Will Make Men's Cuts a Must for Hairdresser CE

Get ready to fill your hairdresser continuing education (CE) calendar with men’s styling! It may sound like a tabloid headline, but some scientists are cautiously optimistic that they may have inadvertently discovered a way to grow new hair follicles. Okay, it’s only in mice so far, but humans are a lot closer to mice in physiology than we like to admit. Grab some scissors and review your men’s haircut study. If bald men grow hair, a flood of happy testosterone will soon be floating into your chair!

Remedies like Nioxin have been shown effective in restoring hair to lazy or dormant follicles. That’s why they work best in men whose baldness is recent or just starting. But this breakthrough grows new follicles! While experimenting with a set of proteins to help skin wounds heal in natural-looking ways rather than by scarring, scientists were amazed to observe that the great results included new hair growth. You can read about it on any medical website; an article on webmd.com gives the main facts.

Just think how fun it will be for your male clients to come in all excited about getting hair color and texture services, loading up on gels and mousses and, especially, getting the latest trendy cuts! Get ready for a real renaissance with some men’s haircut study. (I realize that I could illustrate this story with a men’s style head shot, but this calls for a little beefcake celebration!)
